The Tasmanian Family Violence Act 2004 empowers Police to bypass the Judiciary remove the presumption of innocence and arrest without warrant. The Judiciary is effectively removed.
Police make Judicial orders dispossessing a homeowner from their home for 12 months .
Police Order Transfer of Parental responsibility and Duty of care of children exclusively to the Complainant for 12 months.
When the 12 months expires the Safe At Home Initiative prohibits the Defendant from ever returning to his home or children unless the Family Court can be afforded and property partition and division directives made by the Court.
No right of response is permitted by Police..
I don't think the legislation 's draconian effects were intended but there it is for all to see and download.
